Who We Are
The Connecticut College Film Society is a student-run organization whose purpose is to bring quality film entertainment to the campus community.

Membership
Any member of the campus community is eligible for membership: students, faculty, and staff members. The only requirements are a love of film, a willingness to learn to project 16mm films, projecting a few films each semester, selling tickets, and regular attendance at our weekly Friday evening meetings (at 7:30pm in Olin 014; usually brief). Not so much to ask, now, is it? Those who do the above things will are allowed to view film society movies free of charge.

What We Do
Meet on Friday evening, pick up posters to put up around campus for next week's movie, and assign people to project films and sell tickets in the coming weeks. People who are learning to project are assigned to watch an experienced projectionist at one of the film showings. When they feel comfortable projecting, they are then put on the regular projectionist list.

Ticket Information
Tickets are available for sale starting fifteen minutes before each show. Prices are $2.00 per person.

Bargain Passes (Currently unavailable)
We are now offering Bargain Passes to make admission to our films even cheaper. Here's how they work... You can get our 7 Film Pass for $10 -- a savings of $7.50 off regular price. Or if seven films just isn't enough -- you can purchase the 14 Film Pass for $18 (you do the math). Or if that's still not enough films for you -- you can get the 21 Film Pass for $25. To get a Bargain Pass, please contact leave a voicemail with all the pertinent details at x6082.

For Connecticut College students only. Passes are only good for the person named on the card. Passes do not guarantee admission -- it is recommended that cardholders show up at least 15 minutes before showtime to ensure seating (more for popular films).

Information on Showtimes
Please see individual film posters which are put up around campus a week before the film opens.
